That was pretty surprising. He seemed more interested in the phone conversation. It's like... Ummmm... now's not the time... put down the phone, stay alert, and get your hand on your gun.Renegade wrote:They showed store video on DFW Channel 8 at 6.
OMG. It was amazing he was not killed or killed an innocent person.
He walked in while on the phone, passing a bad guy he did not see. Could have been capped right there. Then he chased the other one out the door, all the while firing with one hand.

Actually you have no proof that your assesment is correct.txinvestigator wrote:That's what I thought. You HAVE no precedent or other proof that your assessment is correct. I understand that is your opinion, but is NOT fact.Paladin wrote:You'll have to figure this stuff out on your own TXI. 1. armed robbers (still a threat while exiting)
Where is THAT legal precedent? I disagree with your assessment of this issue.2. robbery isn't complete till the robber gets away with what they stole, therefore an aggravated robbery was still in progress.
Your facetious attempt to dodge is noted.
Personally I think both my points are painfully obvious. I'm just feeling that I'm wasting my time.
3 armed robbers with guns are still quite a threat even at a distance. Do I really have to point out that firearms are ranged weapons?
As for the second point I see you have no cases to contradict it.

Absolutely. While I may not have confronted the BG's in the manner implied in the article, my backbone would prevent me from doing anything other than helping a family member who called me in desparate need.stroo wrote:Protecting the family member may have been his main concern. This is a heroic act in my book.
