All you non-LEO guys-

Go sign up for a ride-along with your local PD, if they offer it. It'll open your eyes to what these guys are doing, and what they go through everyday.

It may not be the law to show when you're not carrying, but I agree with a lot of you that its just courteous, and why not? It's not like its heavy, bulky or awkward to pull out one extra card, right?
