Noone even razzed Carlson about his clip-draw!
I actually think they're pretty neat. Tried one for awhile on my Kimber. Comfy, but not for me. Probably not all that safe either.

I've had a Brommeland MaxCon V for my 3" 1911 for about a month now, and I've been loving it.
It's an inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster, and it sure keeps this pistol nice and close. I'd recommend one, but just beware the wait times for most custom holsters!
