Just to add a little perspective to the amount of times its taking to get your plastic right now. I applied for my CHL in early 2009 and it took 7-8 months to receive my plastic and that was without any issues. Hang in there.

Re: I hope this Cyclist looking for trouble isn't a CHL
Will get flamed for this but IMHO bicycles do not belong on most roadways. There should be a minimum speed requirement for all roadways. The vehicle you are operating should be able to consistently maintain that speed. If it can't it doesn't belong on the road. It amazes me that we don't let dirt b...

Re: Texas store owner arrested after killing robber at night
If you'll permit. A better philosophy is to never, ever, make judgements about the innocence or guilt of anyone based on what we read, see, or hear from the media. Whatever the media says, an American is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The "news" (read that "entertain...

...Like passing a law making it illegal for the sky to fall. Or, listening to televison campaign ads where the guy promises to lower property taxes in Texas. The state legislature's inability to raise state taxes and its proclivity for passing the bills on to the counties and cities resulted in inc...

The efforts of these in your face "OCA" people is so obviously counter productive to our cause that I've come to the conclusion that they cant be that stupid or hard headed so they must be plants from the leftist gun grabbers. Reasonable conclusion? Maybe some investigation into the backgr...

Re: concealed carry and new job
That would be a false assumption. I work for a company with hundreds of employees and it explicitly grants CHL holders permission to carry on company property. The company also held a CHL class for employees wanting to get a CHL. And the boss here who made this happen is politically liberal and vot...

I think I'm letting them go if their back is to me and they are fleeing whether or not I can "legally" shoot them. I think you can legally shoot them in this instance to stop them from stealing from you assuming they have something of yours in their hands and I think this was the determina...

I've been carrying ever since Obama was elected for his first term and have never even been close to needing to use it but I would think you will know when you need to use it because you will be scared to death of death. That's as far as your safety or one of your loved ones safety goes. As far as p...

We need to get someone to draft legislation to automatically recall anyone who proposes stupid, insane, ignorant, unconstitutional, self serving, unethical, or conflict of interest legislation. Make sense? Did I forget anything? Anygunanywhere That's a dead on description of Shelia Jackson Lee. :???:
