I knew I was going with FDE MOE from the start, so I decided to source the parts from several places. Started with a Spike's stripped lower directly from Spike's (a few days later, AIM had more Spike's stripped lowers for $79.95 and free shipping
). Purchased the lower build kit (everything you need to assemble a lower - fire control group, mil-spec buffer tube, spring, buffer, etc) from Palmetto State Armory which also came with MOE stock, pistol grip and trigger guard. Got the complete midlength upper from another vendor and the MOE handguards from somewhere else too.I hope Santa brings me an ACOG this year.
