You know what this means for me? Pit access to any event :) Yes please.

I was thinking about joining SCCA for some track days. I'm gonna wait until I get this dang ring paid for (some big things coming soon I hope)
You'll have to wait a year to use that Pit pass, looks like. USF1 didn't get it together in time.
And then you'll have to do some traveling, Toronto at least.
We've been trying to get a Monaco trip going.

As for track Days, lots of other options - NASA, Texas Driving Experience, PCA, BMWCCA.
SCCA doesn't do track days hardly at all. they are more about serious racing.

Re: Any sports car people?

I was president of ER in 1993.

I think it's been about 4 years for me, but I'm thinking about rejoining the fray.

Re: Any sports car people?

T Lynn, if you are near DFW, drop me a PM. There's a race this weekend in Cresson.
Otherwise, I can hook him up in your area.

This is what he needs  (its for sale):

Re: Any sports car people?

I guess I'm a sports car people. I've been a member of the Sports Car Club of America since 1976.
I've autocrossed many weekends of those years, and road-raced since 1996. I'm getting pretty lazy about that the last few years.
Daily driver is a 2007 Shelby GT Mustang, or a 1998 BMW Z3.
If it's rainy, I'm in my old pickup.
