Your are absolutely correct. I got the license in the mail the other day and they used the same old photo. I guess that it shouldn't that big of a deal that the photos don't match, DL with beard CHL without.

Well, I got hold of a nice young lady at DPS who told me in order to guarantee my current DL photo I would have to send in the CHL 16 by mail and it would extend the process by at least 2 weeks and that it was just a crap shoot doing it online as to which photo they would use. I didn't want to wait ...

To answer your question Patterson I got my renewal in 2 weeks. It stinks that I had to renew in April but then moved in a few months, but man I'm so glad that I finally got moved out to the sticks.
