Re: To NFA or not to NFA, that is the question

SigM4,

Fair point on yesterday/today. I was thinking about SBRing a couple of lowers (one of which is the new KP15), and form 1ing a suppressor. Outside of that, I kind of want to buy a Sandman S.

To NFA or not to NFA, that is the question

All,

I am finally at a point where I should be able to file some Form 1s this spring/summer, and would like y'alls input. Is it worth it to do the paperwork for a couple of SBRs and a suppressor or two right now?

Thanks!

Re: post-election reflection

I tend to do a lot of lurking rather than posting in a lot of places, and one of my favorite authors has been doing a lot of delving into all the stuff around the election. And he's been posting a bunch of it on Facebook and his blog, which has obviously angered certain people. While the language in...

Re: stag arms stag -10

I've used a Blue Force Gear Vickers sling for years. I usually attach mine using 550 cord to the front of my rifles (if I don't have a mounting point) and just thread it through the rear. The main reason I like them, is that they are quick adjust so I can tighten or loosen the sling up quickly. Whet...

Re: Survival Prepping

For food, I tend to prefer the Mountain House brand for individual meals. But if you want to stack it deep, there are a lot of places (including Costco and Sams Club) that occasionally advertise 6mo plus packages of #10 tin cans.

Re: WTB Hudson H9 magazines

I really like it. The trigger has some slack in it (like most striker fired), but breaks really cleanly. Combine that with good accuracy, and a slim body with 15rds and it becomes a really nice pistol. The only downside, is that it is a tad heavy (steel frame), but I don’t mind that.

WTB Hudson H9 magazines

Just like the title says, I'm on the lookout for some Hudson H9 mags. I'm not quite certain what a fair price for them would be, but I am more than willing to negotiate.

So, if you have any that you would like to part with (or someplace where I can get a few) please let me know!

Thank you!

Re: New Law Tactical folder Install - Stove Pipe and fail to eject

NordicTexan, The extra weight added by the BCG extension will affect your carrier travel speed. I actually had the inverse issue (10.5in 5.56 pistol), where it would cycle too fast. Adding the extra weight actually helped in my case. For your issue, you are likely correct that there is not enough ga...

Re: Found - Low profile Kydex pancake holster - Partial Review

I also have the Perun from Raven Concealment. It may not be the best holster I’ve ever used, but it is a really good holster. I second everything TAM said, but with a P320 X Full instead of a G19. Edited to add: The material seems to flex a bit more (laterally) than kydex, which (in my opinion) is w...

Re: Looking for a new safe

How I wish housing wouldn’t care if I modified this place.....but I like the way y’all think. Maybe when we PCS back to GA, I can convince the wife to let me turn a closet into a vault room. Also, good news. I called the insurance company and my renter’s insurance is going to cover locksmith fees an...

Re: Looking for a new safe

03Lightningrocks, That’s pretty much how mine looks too. I got a chance to talk to a locksmith the other day, and he winced when I told him about the safe. Apparently it’s gonna be a pain for him to drill out. After that, I’ll have a very heavy paperweight. Maybe I’ll get a buddy or three to help me...
