Re: Ruger LCP - First Range Visit
I made the mistake of putting 100 rounds through my LCP during my first range trip with it. I normally put 200-300 rounds through my 9mm and thought I would do the same with the LCP. But it just isn't a gun you can comfortably shoot a ton! After the first range trip, I had a small blister on my thum...

Re: Who is Attending TexasCHLforum Day at PSC ?
I also plan to attend. I would love to be attending the Self-Defense and Deadly Force Laws Seminar on Friday night, but that is my anniversary. It took most of the past 22 years, but I did learn the proper answer to such a conflict.

Re: I do carry and just wanted to have a very good lawyer
I have been thinking about this issue for the last few months and came across a possible solution while I was at the grand opening of the new facility for The Arms Room today (nice place, btw). One of the vendors there was Walker, Rice, & Wisdom P.C. who have an offering called [Pre-paid legal s...

Re: HK P30 and Auto Slide Release
This definitely does not happen with my Ruger P94D 9mm. And I have only had my new LCP for a few weeks, during which I've only taken it to the range once, only putting 112 rounds through it, but I don't remember it doing this either. However, since the slide on the LCP does not automatically lock ba...

Not a knife carrier, but...
I don't carry a knife very often, usually only while out in the country for some reason, but for those of you who do, I thought I would throw this out there. yugster.com has a SOG BL-01 Bluto Blue pocket knife on sale for at least $20-$25 less than anyone else pricegrabber.com lists. I have no idea ...

Re: Anyone shot the S&W Bodyguard .380?
Just FYI, I asked a guy at Walmart why they never get any .380 ammo. He replied that it appears to be a catch-22 loop. Apparently their ordering is automatically done by computer and it only orders what they sell, but since they weren't able to get any .380 ammo for so long, they never sold any, so ...
