I have never ever ever been asked anything about my NFA stuff by a cop except at the range asking if they can shoot it. I carry copies of my stamps with the the items. Like if you have a SBR AR fold up the paper and stick it in the bottom of a vert foregrip or in the bag for your can. That way it is always with you. I know guys that keep business card shrunk down ones in their wallet. I don't want to get my wallet stolen and have that info out there myself.

You do not have to show your stamp to anyone but a ATF agent or an IRS agent. If a cop asked me about it I would show it to him just to avoid headache and to not give him a hard time. Don't forget if you take it over state lines to fill out your 5320.20 ahead of time. congrats on the new can!!!
