I can see the appeal of 8 rounds.

The 627 is also so much more expensive than the 686, that you can practically buy a 686 and have enough left over for another j-frame. The extra money isn't worth the 2 rounds to me. However, God Bless America, we are still free to make our own choices without about half of our own money. So if it grabs your interest, go for it.

If you want to carry a .357, why would you want an N-frame instead of a K-frame or L-frame? Just curious . . .

Personally, I am a big fan of the K-frame .357's.

I have an N-frame in .44 Mag. I don't want to carry a .44 Mag.
