I have put a lot of parts in a gallon-size, clear, baggie to strip so that the flying spring didn't go anywhere.

Re: Did what the instructions told me not to do.

The Lee Precision website lists replacement parts for all their presses.

Here is a link: http://leeprecision.com/pro-1000-45-acp-parts/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

These look likely, but I don't know the parts you need:

http://leeprecision.com/spring-.015-wire.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://leeprecision.com/spring-.030-wire.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Call Lee Precision (tel # on website). The woman who answers the phone for parts orders will be able to tell you exactly what to order. If I know the parts I want, I usually order Lee parts from FSReloading.com:

https://fsreloading.com/parts.php?product=90638" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

However, if I do not know the part number, I will always call Lee Precision and ask. They have never let me down.
