Re: Your 2019 EDC

I have 3 EDC guns.

G43 - 90-95% of the time
G19
Shield 45

Mainly the G43 since it fits perfectly in my right leg cargo pocket with a sticky holster. If I'm wearing a belt holster, then its the G19 OWB or the Shield for IWB.

What about these?

They come with a lifetime warranty and if you time it right, you might even get your homeowner's insurance to partially pay for them.

Re: How many acres needed for shooting?

Depends on the property location, but no matter the size, you are responsible for ensuring that anything shot out of a firearm stays within your property unless you have permission from a neighbor. Anything under 10 acres, the city or county can pass regulations banning shooting on your property. I ...

Re: Need a more comfortable Glock 43 holster

Not sure if this will work for your situation, but if you wear cargo/tactical pants or shorts then the sticky holster might be an option. https://stickyholsters.com/md-4-medium-sticky-holster.html I normally wear tactical pants to work and I've found that the G43 with +2 extension fits perfectly in ...

Re: Austin based Yeti quits doing business with NRA

Yeti is now claiming that the NRA-ILA is misrepresenting the issue. YETI claims that they just got rid of an "outdated discounting program" for multiple companies, including the NRA, while offering an "alternative customization program". The statement ends with Yeti stating they ...

Re: Knowing Now Are You Still Participating in Face Book?

I fight on FB all the time. "rlol" I would certainly enjoy viewing that! I've had a few interesting discourses on FB myself. One thing I've noticed about my adversaries, they almost always resort to insults, name calling and derisiveness when confronted with facts they are unable to refut...

Re: Self driving vehicles creep me out. How will feds mandate purchases?

I look at this as a question of when, not if. Either the technology will become cheap enough to make it standard on a civic, cruze, corolla, etc, etc or the fed will just mandate it. After that, the insurance companies will just jack up the rates for self driving cars to the point that the average p...

Sutherland Springs victims family to sue Academy

I did not see this posted anywhere and mods please move it if it's in the wrong spot. It basically boils down to the fact that he listed his home address as Colorado Springs, CO and that it is illegal to purchase a firearm with an out of state address. I thought this only applies to handguns, not ri...

Re: Need suggestions for a gift

My very first rifle was a 700 ADL in 270 with the walnut stock and a Redfield scope. My Dad bought it used from a guy about to walk into a pawn shop for my 13th birthday. It definitely had a trigger job done and it is extremely accurate, especially since I swapped out that Redfield for a Leupold VX-...

Re: Recommend an AR at $700 max

I keep seeing Radical Firearms from just southwest of Houston. Anyone have any experience? Price point and features are right. When I was buying my first, several people suggested I build my own. That was outside the scope of what I wanted at the time. I would not recommend pushing that idea on a f...

Does everyone realizes that Mike Weisser is HuffPo's resident "gun expert"? He has also been called Mike the anti gun guy. Here is a list of articles he has published on Huffpo and you can make up your own mind.

Re: Shotgun selection

I found a review where the guy talks about the 1400 not cycling the ammo correctly. He also complains about aftermarket chokes not fitting. Not sure if any of this would apply to you, but you might try running a couple of boxes of shells through them just to see how she likes the feel. https://www.y...
