I agree totally. If someone from the store wants to go through my personal property, it must be because they think I've stolen something. I haven't, so they can take a long walk..........
If its about inventory control, then close off the registers so that once I've paid and exited, I'm done. I don't have time to stand in line, check out, and proceed to stand in line again to exit.
Why not put those "minimally employed" persons (as someone refered to them) to work helping those who need help carrying their purchases? That would be a far more productive use of their labor, in my mind.
