I understand that it’s a free country and people can be wrong if that’s their preference, but I do wish the media would stop trying to lower the bar.

My understanding is that jury intimidation is very illegal. Assuming the initial story is correct, I hope the people back in the office who told him to follow the bus faces jail time, too.

If I’m not mistaken, the courthouse opened a few minutes ago. I guess we’ll know what the judge thinks of all this fairly soon. Does anyone know what time the jury is set to reconvene?

Can he be prosecuted for assault?
I’d laugh pretty hard if that happened, but I’m not entirely sure it’s the interpretation of the law that we want… seems like it might be abused to go after people who don’t deserve it. I’m totally open to having my mind changed on the matter, though.

I may be misunderstanding things, but watching the trial live just now it really seems like the prosecutor is making his job harder.
