Internet training

A couple of examples of Internet training

Defense Driving and Hunters safety are offered on the internet.

Florida doesn' require a shooting proficiency test and their license is widely recongnized.

I would not drop the background check

But,
I figure if I can get a mortgage by filling out a web page application

The DPS could do a background check from a web page application.


Fingerprints are an issue.
Are they absolutly required for a background check?

What about renewals?

Goal #1 - Ease of Renewal

In September, car carry will become legal for Texans.

Since 1996 when the Texas CHL law first went into effect, the law has modified to make it easier to renew BUT...

Renewal is still a major hassle to most CHL holders. A half day in class, tests, photos, prints, money.

Over the next 5 years, I would expect the number of CHL holders to drop because, you don't need it to have a gun in your car.

I'd like the option of taking the written test on the internet, giving them my credit card number, and getting my new card in the mail.
