TAM, may I please borrow your post to share with my children (one in college and one a Jr. in High school). We are both blessed and cursed in that they both are very strong willed and conservative minded and unafraid to speak their minds (have no idea where they get that from). However we have had the older one struggle with how "frustrating stupid people with power can be". MARuss and I have both tried to teach them to "learn to play the game and learn both sides of the story - not be afraid to question those in authority if it doesn't feel/sound right." But teaching them when/when to not question, but just comply is very hard. Your post is wonderful (no surprise), and I thank you.
