Re: Sea World
I was also at SeaWorld this past week (3-19-08 and 3-20-08) and there were no 30.06 signs. They did search bags very briefly (my wife's G27 was not seen) and our persons were not searched. We carried happily all day long.

As concerned citizens of Baytown (and the surrounding areas), a large number of people have banded together to come up with solutions to help the local PD and City government combat crime in our area and take control of our streets back. I welcome anyone from this area or even if you are just curiou...

Nothing in Google News since May 10. News media frequently work from police radio scanners and the police blotter. Finding out that a grand jury no-billed someone takes footwork that may not be done. - Jim The shooter was no-billed: http://www.dailysentinel.com/search/content/news/stories/2007/05/3...

When I first started carrying, I started with a Glock 27 (.40 cal) because I was overly concerned with the weapon being concealed. After I was comfortable with the 27, I started carrying the Glock 23. There was still no issue with concealment at all. Since, I have graduated up to my favorite of all ...

Re: from their perspective
If the company has a strict no-guns policy, and they know you are a CHL holder, they could resonably suspect you might choose to violate that policy. This is true. We are also subject to search of our person OR vehicle. I REALLY hope the legislation that grants us the right to keep a weapon secured...

Well, Greg beat me to the part about how someone could find out if a police officer somewhere is running their applicants for them. This is not hard to get done in many places, such as small towns OR if a reserve works in the HR department, as an example. I strongly suggest that you (ICheeWaWa) cal...

I think it means that a person is placed on probation for a period of time. If the person doesn't get in any more trouble, the case is dismissed at the end of that term. Basically, the judge defers judgement for a specified time. The violation still appears on that person's criminal history. Someon...
