Re: True Grit
Took the father inlaw to see that yesterday, we both enjoyed it but he liked the original better, not surprised as his man room is wall to wall John Wayne! Nice review there TAM.
Re: EMALS
My stateroom was right under the CAT 1 JBD on the Truman, I didn't mind it one bit. I even passed on a 3rd deck stateroom to stay close to our maintenance control and the 03 wardroom. Before I commissioned I lived on the 03 between the arresting gear machinery rooms, didn't mind that either. The new...

Re: Cleaning
http://www.guncleaners.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is a good source for ultrasonics cleaning gear, if you can shell out 600 bucks for a home system (they clean and lube) although I'm sure there are some less expensive models out there. We use ultrasonic cleaners at w...

Re: Question regarding military service and DPS online form.
Based on the Texas DPS definition of a veteran you would not be considered a vet due to your discharge status, I would recommend checking "No" on the form and moving on. You may be ok leaving it blank because it doesn't appear to be required according to the rules for filling out the appli...

SA XD40 Springer Precision Trigger job
Looking to have a trigger job done on my XD40, any of you have any personal, first hand experience with Springer Precision? They appear to do some nice work and the prices are reasonable as well, basically looking for some references before I send them my gun and my money. Thanks in advance for any ...

Re: Home Security Sign
Skippr, thank you, I'm glad to do what I do and really couldn't think of a better way of life although it's not for everyone. Should I ever move south I'd gladly move in next door to you. Scott, yes I did, right after I moved in two years ago. Don't get me wrong, they're great neighbors and always k...

Re: Home Security Sign
Yes sir, I need one of those signsin my yard for my next door neighbor who believes that all guns should be banned and there's no good reason for anyone to own much less conceal carry a weapon unless you are a cop or the military.

ANOTHER 51% SIGN QUESTION
Went into BooRay's on Fort Worth Hwy in Weatherford (Hudson Oaks) today for lunch and spoted a zerox copy of a 51% sign behind the bar after I had been there a while, definitely not displayed in clear view and NO WAY possible that it could be seen from the entrance of the restuarant; didn't spot ano...
