Problem is that political types know what to say depending on the audience. As to whether or not they really believe what they are saying or will follow through is another matter entirely. MA doesn't have a very good reputation from a gun rights point of view.

As bad as Obama has been the republicans haven't done much to change my view that they'd have a hard time organizing a good picnic, mush less a successful election campaign. Hope I'm wrong about that but it looks to be a hard fight.
