Re: Winchester gun safes
Well. Good news. We bought a house with the MB on the first floor so dodged that bullet thankfully. My man closet is HUGE. I’m shopping for safes now. Financially it should realistically be on the bottom of “our” list with all the things we want or need to do to the house. IE gutters etc. However, o...

Re: Winchester gun safes
I was fortunate and have a area in my laundry room that was designed for an upright deep freezer or an extra refrigerator. My safe fit the spot perfectly. Maybe hire a structural engineer to check it for you. It may be fine in the right spot. Being in the HVAC business for 35 years I have done many...

Re: Winchester gun safes
It might be fine if placed where it is reinforced well. I went down stairs with mine due to my concern over this but my safe was around 1200 pounds and likely has another 400 pounds in it. Maybe check with the builder or have your blue prints looked at to be sure of the location. Pre-owned home so ...

Re: Winchester gun safes
What would I keep it on exactly? Maybe the second floor isn’t a good idea my entire downstairs will not be an option except the garage.
It would be all the way against an outside wall if it went upstairs
Thanks “The Marshall” for the information

Winchester gun safes
Any thoughts on this brand? They have quite a few models for between 1k-1500k that were very similar. They are having a sale about 45 minutes away from me. That’s averaging 200.00 or more off depending the model Trying to include delivery up to my second story in that price. That being said is that ...

Re: Glock Night Sights Needed
Glad you found something you like. I don't think my Trijicon HD rear sights are all that sharp. I have the ones with orange around the front sight. I like the okay, but may go with the XS big dot night sights the next time I have to get a new set. I've also heard good things about them. like your a...

Re: PTSD and obtaining a LTC
I told the guy I didn't remember anything being brought about it but it doesn't take much for me to renew mine (LEO) so I suggested he go through the application. I suggested if it doesn't ask there shouldn't be a reason to mention it.
Thanks for the replies.

I actually risked it and went with Optics Planet. It was great purchase and came at an "ok" shipping rate. I attached before and after pics. I'm far from a photographer.

PTSD and obtaining a LTC
Does anyone know if being diagnosed and treated for PTSD currently or at any point negates someone from a LTC? Thanks.

Awesome. I haven't been on this forum in over a year I suppose. Cool to see somehow this topic still was active after logging on and looking at old post.
Funny thing is I just recently completed that AR. Only took half a decade hahahahahaha

Glock Night Sights Needed
Plan- to find a set of Glock night sights that have a Front- .120 width and standard height. Red circle/tritium insert Rear- .14 notch if not smaller with tritium inserts with no white circle. Trijicon HDXRs would do it IF the rear wasn't so sharp. Sooo I looked at an Ameriglo TCAP front and Operato...
