Trading LaRue for kimber raptor need advice
This is not an add. I'm planning on trading my Larue obr for a 5" lnib stainless raptor II. My gun is practically new, I picked it up for a steal of a deal and the raptor I'm looking at is in just as good condition. I figured the raptor is probably a 1000$ used and he has a couple Wilson mags a...

Re: Making first AR purchase
I'm the proud new owner if a LaRue OBR!!! Now to research and try out some optics. I'd like a close range option and then a long range. I'm going to shoot it and see what I need, as I need it. I built my rock crawler that way and have no regrets. Thanks for the input.

Re: Making first AR purchase
AB, I live in a world where "dibs" count. If i don't pick it up, I will PM you. C-dub, I'm looking for something to complement my foil hat in preparation for the end. Well maybe not that extreme, but I would like to have a good mid range gun. I don't have any optics on my ak and need to be...

Making first AR purchase
I have a buddy that is selling his few month old LaRue 556 18" OBR. I have had my fair share of AK's, but I have never owned any AR platform rifle and know very little about them. I know LaRue is Texas owned and turns out good products from what I have seen on here. I guess the reason for my po...

Re: 1911 magazine
I'll try the Wilson first, if they don't work out I'll try something else. Only replies I received on the 1911 forum is for Wilson. I needed a starting point, thanks guys.

1911 magazine
I know it's been talked about multiple times here, but what magazine is the "best one" for a 1911? I'll be getting a Kimber pro raptor tomorrow and wouldn't mind picking up a couple mags to go with it as well. Also is there anything else I should order that may wear out or need to switch f...

Joining the 1911 club
I have cash in hand for the gun show this weekend to look for a Kimber ss pro raptor. I wouldn't mind having a used one, but I love that new gun smell and not real sure what to look for in a used 1911. I'm still uncertain if I want the 4" or 5" model. I'm 90% sure the 4" is for me, bu...
