Just got back from shooting at the DFW gun range for the first time. It was nice. Clean show room and range. Nice staff as well. Gun prices were a little on the high side. I'll probably be back.

The only two outdoor ranges on Hwy 380 are now gone. The Back Woods Traps, bought out by the developers of Savana Subdivision several months ago and now the Collin County Gun Range has been forced out by the airport expansion (I hear) so they could buy the land cheaper with a defunct business on it...

The wife and I are thinking of going to the Clay Walker concert there tonight. I'm trying to figure out if I can carry before walking up to the front door to find out.

Dallas Museum of Art is posted. Is this a legitimate "no carry" zone since it is city owned? I've read statements about citiy buildings not being able to post 30.06's. Why is it that city owned property can't be posted?

Now that you mention it. I think the majority of the few 30.06 signs I've seen in the Houston area have been at car dealerships. Chas. I can think of so many car salesman jokes that would fit this... Seriously though, I haven't seen a 30.06 sign at my dealer. I am going to take a closer look though...
