Police trade-in revolver
I'm new to forum and not sure where to place this, so...... I have a Colt Official Police .38 spec. revolver that has H.P.D. No. xxx stamped on the bottom of the grip. It also has crudely vibro-etched on the side under the cylinder release H-x. The dealer I bought it from claimed the "H" s...

I've been bothered by being given away some how or other, but I remember something I read that someone else said when spotted. He said; "shhhh, I'm under cover". Kind of a "wise guy" answer, but it just might work.
