I've got the Savage 10FP in .270. Wonderful rifle!

If your looking for a nice carbine, and I don't know you style preferences, but there are amazing things being said about the Beretta CX4. I've shot one in 9mm and it was a dream. Also comes in .40 and .45ACP. Fits many Beretta handgun mags too.

Also, you could wait for the rifle version. The RX4!!! It will be available in .223 and follows a similar design of the CX4.

BTW, how do you guys pronounce that word? Do you say "carbIne", or "carbeen"
