Re: Shooting Kroger's In Bedford
So far the guy hasn't been charged with anything. Looks like the D.A. may consider this a "reasonable" action under 9.22 / 9.32? Hasn't gone to the DA yet. Department put out an update yesterday morning saying they were still investigating and it will be presented to Tarrant Co. DA next w...

Re: Comb-raiser for rifles/shotguns
That's a pretty neat setup - I haven't seen a tear away shell holder before.
What is the benefit over the usual plastic ones? I'm assuming it's to have several 'strips' pre-loaded that can be swapped out as needed?

Re: 1911 Concealment holster
I have an MTAC for my 1911 that works well. Also have an OWB by DM Bullard that I really like but I don't use it very often.

Re: Beretta Nano 9mm Range Report (first 440 rounds)
CEO - Bud's has the PPS in 9mm for $504 at the moment. The Nano is a neat looking pistol and I'd like to get to try one out. I'm still not real comfortable with the shorter grips where I can't get my pinky around the grip. I've held the PM9 and it just feels like I wouldn't be able to control it as ...

Is the grip full size or is it one of the shortened ones?

Re: Good inside belt holster?
For those that are interested - I got an email last night that Comp-Tac is running a sale through the end of July on the MTAC holsters with the chestnut (brown) backing. Regular price is $85, the sale is around $73. Not a huge savings, but better than full price. I've had an MTAC for my 1911 for abo...

Re: US Marshall dissing a 92
If Jones had any class, he would have told the man to get a 1911, which to a Script writer would come out "Colt 45". But he's a Democrat I hate to admit having seen the movie (it's amazing what you'll do to avoid studying), but he does carry a 1911 in "Man of the House". The tri...

Re: WTB: Springfield EMP 9mm
Not sure if their prices are competitive (probably not), but I saw several 9mm EMPs in the case today at Collector's Firearms on Richmond at Fondren. Want to say they had one for about $1050, not sure if it was a used or not. (My first post - will have to head over to the general forum and introduce...
