That's where I carry today -- with an MTAC holster. I've got the cant set pretty far forward and find it the MOST comfortable place for me. A big advantage for me is being able to bend over without exposing the butt of the gun from side carry. Wife can't tell when I'm carrying. I tried all around from front to back and this is what worked good for me.Droshi wrote:Also in general to the original topic of carry position. I like the idea of a 1-2 o'clock appendix carry, it seems to me I have more "control" over my firearm. Whereas at 4-9 o'clock I have a percieved probably irrational fear that the gun is more easily snatchable. The problem is that position seems the least comfortable, again, hoping MTAC will help, but I don't know....how do people make it work? Or is it just not that popular because of comfort and some just deal with it?
