My issue with the copyright claim is that the photo appears to have been taken at a public event at which anyone could have taken a picture at that moment. Who's to say he copied AP's photo. Who's to say he didn't paint it from memory?
I think about court sketch artists. If ones sketches a witness testifying and a photographer takes a photo from the same location, did one of them copy the other's work?

The question that bothers me is why she wanted to convict George if the evidence didn't support it.texanjoker wrote: I applaud her big time. Not for speaking about it, but the fact she followed the jury instructions and against her personal desire voted NG. That took a lot of guts and showed our system works.

ACLU may have dropped out of the lynch mob, but I didn't notice any indication that it would defend Z against a second prosecution. So I guess the light they saw was still a little dim.

I expect two lines of reporting from the noisy ones:jmra wrote:I wonder how many people will say that Z should have stayed in his truck and called police.sjfcontrol wrote:Just when you thought there wasn't anything else to talk about here...
George Zimmerman Emerged From Hiding for Truck Crash Rescue

1. The accident was staged so Zimmerman could get some good press.
2. Zimmerman probably caused the wreck, but since the victim isn't talking, we'll never know for sure.

I wonder if Zimmerman will qualify for compensation from the crime victims fund.

I see no difference between the two questions. "Defendant," "victim," "Zimmerman"... All synonyms.drjoker wrote:Prosecutor had a freudian slip, "Is the defendant allowed to defend
himself?... I mean, Is the victim allowed to defend himself?"

Has it been established that Martin is a crime victim?philip964 wrote:Treyvon's mom has requested money from the State victim's fund. They have told her she is eligible.

Michael Savage a conservative talk show host and author, on his radio show repeated recently the comment that the 911 operator ordered Zimmerman not to follow Treyvon. "We don't need you to do that" is not an order to not do something.
