I did not see whether the intruder was armed or not, but the story mentions a bullet hole in the blinds.
Sounds like the bullet may have passed through the intruder. In either case, armed or not, if someone breaks into your
home, he/she is asking to get shot.

warm barrel affecting accuracy
My friend bought a Henry 30 30 rifle and we took it out to sight it in. We noticed that the barrel started getting warm after a few rounds. I know that heating of the barrel can affect accuracy, This is a standard round barrel and we were shooting at 50 and 100 yards with a scope from a rest. We nev...

Re: Interesting question I was asked
I think the best thing to do if caught in a stampede would be to try to trip as many folks as possible to create a pile-up that would then cause the crowd to go around. If you were able to pull your weapon and fire it, you would almost certainly injure some innoncent person or persons who were only ...

Re: Share your Personal encounters with
CHL Lady, thank you for taking the time to compose and share that story. Your post has the feel of an excerpt from a well written crime novel, but has the added impact of being for real. Good reading for anyone considering whether or not to obtain their CHL, or for that matter, everyone who already ...

doesn't the new law do away with the distinction between revolvers and pistols in regard to qualification?

I sure would like to know the details of how this all went down. Seems pretty dangerous to interfere with a robbery in progress, but sounds like an excellent outcome.

Re: To many WTB and not enough WTS...
I have been thinking of selling a PX4 subcompact 9mm with crossbreed holster, but haven't posted it yet. Everytime I think about posting it, I think of all the posters that said they have regretted selling guns in the past and then I have second thoughts.

unfortunately, politicians like Biden and Obama aren't interested in the truth, but only in advancing their political agenda.

Re: Anyone qualified who decided not to?
I hae a BIL and stepson who have CHLs but seldom carry. I have found that most of the bad stuff in life happens when you least expect it, so I carry pretty much all the time - including at home.
