Re: FL: Active shooter at high school in South Florida
I absolutely agree, Flightmare. God bless all of the victims and their families, the staff and Coach Fies. One of the Fox talking heads wanted to know why the school didn't have a restraining order for the shooter. THAT would have solved the problem. They could have taped a copy of the order on the ...

Re: Remember September 11
ABSOLUTELY! Unfortunately some school systems are not even talking about 9/11/2001, let alone showing the videos. They don't want to answer the questions or be engaged in discussions about it. I have a 9/11 pin that I wear every day. When I worked for a large school district, I was asked to stop wea...

Re: New Addition
Recoil for the Deagle is actually more mild than for the .44 mag revolvers, so while there is lots of drama aa with any .44, it's not really traumatic. BE ADVISED.... if you reload for this gun, pay special attention to the powders you use. Desert Eagles can seize up the rotating bolt if there is t...

Re: New Addition
May require a holster position where I can employ a two-handed drawing ability.
I've got fairly large hands, but ...... I do like the suspender suggestion.
Otherwise after drawing the gun, the pants are too loose and fall down.

New Addition
We (my son and I) have a new addition. Finally bought a Desert Eagle XIX Tungsten in .44mag.
Have wanted one for years. Can't wait to feel it go "BANG".

Re: Your gun is gonna just GO OFF!
Reading this thread ... several replies almost caused me to "go off" and spew coffee all over my computer.
That may have then caused a fire in the file masher....OH NO!
Thanks for the heads up.

Re: So....Does anyone still shoot .40 ????
My EDC is a PX4 Storm in .40
GREAT gun. I wanted it in .45 when I bought it, but couldn't find one.
So I took the .40.

Re: Licensed but don't carry? Why?
I carry every day, except on work days (I work on a military base so I can't even carry to and from work). However, I am armed everywhere else. I know of two people with their license that use them only for emergency situations. Not sure how they are going to determine that. My intent was to be able...

Re: What is your night stand gun?
Springfield XDm in .45 13+ 1 with two spare mags.
My son has the 9mm version 19+1.
We do love this gun.
My EDC is a Beretta PX4 in .40. Haven't carried the Springfield because I haven't secured a suitable CC holster for it.
IF I ever OC - it will be the Springfield.
