Re: Home invasion advice
Home invasion is generally used when people are home. This appears to be a burglary.

Wilderness Instructor and IWB Blade-tech NANO. Cheap. I also retired a very expensive holster in favor of the NANO.
I carry a full size Glock 17.

Belt tension, especially for a leather holster, is going to be one of the keys for retention strength of the holster. The snaps also sound defective, are they pull the dot type snaps? On plastic holster I use silicon. On leather, I just did a ton of presentations. Kydex has been fine out of the box.

I've posted before, but my first carry experience was in NY after a day of sighting in my new hunting handgun, a .45 Colt Blackhawk 5.5" barrel. A couple buddies and I were shooting, getting ready for deer season and after we finished wanted to get a bite to eat. Instead of getting take out, we...

Ahh Detroit. Used to live there, still root for the teams. Risk of losing your job sounds pretty high, or you wouldn't be asking. Risk in Detroit...probably the same as any other big city. The bad areas are easier to spot than some cities (if there is a row of abandoned houses and a couple are on fi...

Re: Question about "Parking Lot Bill"

When I asked the management if they would be changing the employee hand-book where it states no firearms allowed in personal vehicles, the official answer was no. Their explanation was the company parking lot ...

Re: HB681/SB321 Parking Lots Bill is on the Floor
Please move if this belongs in another place. What is to stop an employer from posting 30.06 signs at the parking lot? Then CHLs would be prohibited by state law (which the SB 321 says is an exception to the new law) and since a CHL is required to have the firearm under SB 321 as part of the new la...
