CL options
A friend of mine is a resident in Calif. with a business there. He owns vacation property in Utah, so he acquired his CL in that state. He also owns a home in the DFW area (for his daughter and her husband to stay in). He will be travelling by car to the DFW area and then back to Utah and then home ...

... On a personal note. I'm not aiming my comments specifically at you. But you will have to admit that there are a great number of people in this country who gleefully tolerate open warfare on Christians. Isn't it odd that there is a profound concern for not doing the same thing to Muslims. I wond...

Re: CITY: 2 GUNMEN KILLED OUTSIDE MUHAMMAD CARTOON CONTEST
Islamic law forbids depiction of any living thing by painting, sculpture or any other means. When the creator of an image goes before God he/she will be challenged to bring the image to life. If they cannot then they will be cast into hades for trying to imitate God as a creator of life. Most muslim...

Re: CITY: 2 GUNMEN KILLED OUTSIDE MUHAMMAD CARTOON CONTEST
The incident in Garland is a topic on a military/veteran forum I frequent. This was posted by a young man from Arizona. I thought it was worth sharing; "Don't you get a new pistol every year just for being a resident of Texas? (lol) Not the smartest idea. Then again, talk about baiting someone ...

I wish I had a motorcycle just so I could be part of Patriot Guard.
Motorcycle not needed. We have plenty of members who drive cars and trucks. Everyone's welcome!

IMG_1002.JPG The entire package in one shot. The bulbous cylinder is a blank firing attachment (I'm told it's of West German make). The flat metal piece is supposed to be a blank cartridge deflector, but darned if I can figure out how it's used. The WW II era foreband is there as well. The magazine...

Re: WTS 1943 M1 Carbine with accessories.
I almost changed the rear sight to the Korean War vintage, but I decided to stay with the original flip sight instead. I know you can find the adjustables on line fairly easily still.

Re: WTS 1943 M1 Carbine with accessories.
I have a '43 Inland too and love it. Mine has matching original part numbers for all major components. It had a cursory armory rebuild in 1945 Where the updated rear sight was added, and was sold to Norway immediately post-war. Some time after that, FN put a new stock on it, and it was reimported t...

Some time back, we were waiting to meet up with and escort a procession out of DFW for a soldier who was KIA in Afghanistan. One of the DPS officers asked the ride Capt. what percentage of our riders were veterans. Ride Capt. told him about 90% of us were vets. Trooper looked over the line of bikes ...
