Re: University of Houston - Releases Draft Campus Carry Policy

Crews are installing signs on doors today. They have the correct 30.06 language, but in English only. They are placing them at ground level and at the corner of entrances. I don't have a ruler, but I also doubt that the letters are one inch tall. I tried to attach a photo, but was unable to do so. ...

Re: Event Involving Students at a Public Convention Center

Every February, I wonder about the legality of carrying at the TMEA convention. The All-State process that takes place there is what gives me pause about carrying. Is the convention a school-sponsored event due to the massive number of all-state students there, under the care of their directors and ...

Re: Question about ID Placement

I switched sides for my wallet also. For some reason I would carry in the right back pocket for jeans, and left for slacks. I went to left all the time when I started to carry every day. Not because of LE interaction, but because I didn't want to accidentally display my weapon when reaching for my ...

Multi Holsters

Has anyone had any experience with Multi Holsters? I'm thinking about purchasing the IWB/OWB combination for my XDS and was wondering what others have thought about it. His products look good from what I've seen, but I can't find a review specific to the IWB/OWB holster where somebody is shown weari...

Re: Springfield XDs opinions?

I love mine. The store called me on Wednesday. They could only hold it for a day before it had to go on the shelf. I thought I was about to be mugged when the guy brought it out to the counter. About a dozen employees and other customers swarmed around to get a look. It was even suggested that we ar...

Re: Back Up Gun

I carry a Ruger LCR on the inside of my weak side ankle. During the summer when it get's too hot for jeans, I'll make move stuff out of the weak side front pocket of my cargo shorts and the LCR will go there in a pocket holster. The stuff I moved out of the front pocket will go into the cargo pockets.

Re: Rudy's BBQ is now posted

I was just at the Webster location a few hours ago and did not notice a sign. That location may have not gotten around to putting it up yet. I thought the food was decent, but nowhere near the best that I've had.

A Ruger LCR, an ankle holster and a few boxes of ammo. Santa dropped it off at my LGS a few days early and they followed me home.

Re: How old were you?

I was 11 or 12 and out in the woods with my parents and my mom's brothers. My father had no opinions on firearms, and my mother was extremely anti-gun, so I didn't have any exposure to firearms at home. My uncles decided it was time to introduce me to shooting. They chose a 12-gauge shotgun as the f...
