Re: How much is this package worth?
From looking at the pictures, I'm guessing the folding stock won't fold (at least all the way) with the EOTech installed - doesn't look like there is room for the mount to attach to the side.

Re: Saiga 12 Gunsmith Houston/Northern Areas?
I've been lucky, my Saiga 12 only had 2 FTF's in the first 300 rounds, perfect since. What ammo are you using? The usual culprit for the problems you describe is using too-light ammo, the S-12's prefer heavier loads to cycle properly. Look at Tromix's website, they have a page outlining a lot of det...

Re: AR15 Pistol
interesting. So can you get any kind of cheek weld to line up the sights? Just looking at them, seems like you'd have to break your neck to get your eye low enough. If that buffer tube is usable as a stock, then the equation changes dramatically, at least when it comes to my opinion on the matter, ...

Aimsurplus.com is usually one of the best sources. They are sold out of Spikes lowers right now (usually sell for $79.95): http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=F1STSL&name=Spike%27s+Tactical+AR15+Lower+Receiver&groupid=301&search=lower" onclick="window.open(this.href);re...

Re: .223 HD rounds
It was before the Geneva Convention, fragmenting/expanding (dum dum) bullets were actually banned by a 22-2 vote at the Hague Convention of 1899. One of my all time favorite quotes comes from the British argument against the ruling: "The civilized soldier when shot recognizes that he is wounded...

Re: Pictures of your "Black Guns"
Where did you get your parts kit? GunThings has one with a parked barrel and FSB attached that looks mighty tempting. Got them both from Sarco. The M16A1 kit parts are new, just minor wear from years of storage. Barrel hasn't been parkerized, FSB is not attached. Currently trying to decide between ...

How that is possible to get the bullet travel backwards and hit the shooter in the head? How lucky was he? I guess he would be dead it that bullet had enough energy or did no hit the dirt first. About 20 years ago I was hit in the ribs by a bullet fragment from a .357 magnum I was firing - indoor r...
