Thanks. :-) I don't think I'm doing anything special. As others have said, I think that the general population just doesn't look for one there so they don't see one there. I now have a Galco Stow-n-go, DeSantis Intruder and a Comp-Tac Minotaur for my G26. It's not a huge gun, I got a good belt and they are pretty standard holsters. Lesson learned is the old standard, I just had to learn it myself. If I find the sweet spot for it to sit (around 3:30 for me) and then leave it alone, no one notices.
The Intruder and Minotaur are pretty awesome BTW.

Waiting for wife to out me
Back in Oklahoma I almost always carried in a fanny pack. When relicensing here in TX, I wanted to go IWB. They boys were with me when I purchased my first two holsters. They knew that mom encouraged me to get the license so I wasn’t asking them to keep a secret. I asked them to not tell her about the holsters and to not tell her or ask me about it if I was carrying. I figured if anyone would see it on me, she would. No one else should know me better. The boys were good sports.
It took her 45 days. Even then she didn't see it. She dragged her hand across my waist as she went past me and jumped when she felt it. We talked and she could not believe that I had been wearing every day since I got my plastic. She was dumbfounded that I was able to carry to a wedding we attended when I had my shirt tucked in.
Anyway, it was a fun experiment. (And no, it was not lost on me that she may simply not look at me anymore. )
