Re: .380 ammo

I second ammunition-to-go. They have a very large selection for each of the common calibers. I'n my experience their prices are comparable to Cheaper-than-dirt, but shipments arrive faster. Either of them is nearly alway cheaper than the local guns stores I've gone to, and often better than the gun ...

Re: thoughts on this video???

After giving the guy back his gun, follow him to his car get his plate number, and then give him tickets for failing to signal or driving 36 in a 35 zone. If he wants to be a jerk about the law...

Re: Stag lefty model needed

I Purchased Stag lefty at the Gun Show in October. The guy kept it under the table, but he saw me handling a few right-hand ones as a lefty and said "I have one with a left-handed upper". It took me a second for it to sink in that he actually had one I could look and and handle. About a ha...

In looking up the penal code, "Intoxicated" means: (A) not having the normal use of mental or physical faculties by reason of the introduction of alcohol, a controlled substance, a drug, a dangerous drug, a combination of two or more of those substances, or any other substance into the bod...

Re: Mossberg 500 JIC Just In Case Shotgun

Shot guns are ultra-versatile and a great choice for "just in case" weapons. Everyone should have one. Mossberg 590A1 for me! But personally, I can't think of a "just n case" situation in which I would prefer to have one of these pistol-grip only shot guns over some other gun. If...

Re: New Employee Manual, Just like a opinion

Another poster summed it up as don't ask don't tell. I think that's about right. My Employee Manual says something similar. In large companies lawyers help write these things. I think they are being purposefully vague about "authorization". Authorization by who? Obviously you have legal au...

I can just see it. People pushing around carts full of long guns, handguns, ammo, groceries, assorted other odds and ends, and a toddler in the fold down seat.

Re: Taurus 709 Slim

OK went back to the range on Friday evening with my new PT709. I arrived with 250 rounds of Monarch brass case 9mm, and 50 rounds of Hornady Dritical Defense (turns out the Hornady comes in 25 rnd boxes instead of the usual 20 in the defensive ammo brands :thumbs2: ). I planned on shooting all of it...

Re: Taurus 709 Slim

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago because of the way it felt in my hand vs the other slim 9 mm out there (initially I was going for a Ruger LC9). The 709 just felt better and I liked the trigger pull too. I took it to the range for the first time last weekend and put 220 rounds through it....
