Just a friendly reminder that ballots must be received by April 9th - so, there is still barely time, if you send them ASAP.
Mine was misplaced/misfiled, so I just got mine in the mail today.

Re: to you know where in a handbasket thnx SCOTUS
I don't even know why I'm debating this with you guys, it's obvious that you've made your position and there's nothing that can be done to open your mind. I find it interesting that people who put so much emphasis on certain personal freedoms (the right to bear arms) can speak so harshly against ot...

Re: to you know where in a handbasket thnx SCOTUS
I was going to pass on this one, but I did think of one thing that bothers me about this ruling, not tied to any sort of moral stance on the subject. The thing that bothers me is that the SCOTUS ruled on something that isn't in the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights basically says that anything n...

Re: Colorado House passes 4 gun control bills
It appears Hickenpooper has signed these bills, this morning: >House Bill 1224 – Bans magazines with a capacity greater than fifteen rounds (eight rounds for shotguns) and makes a magazine with a removable floor plate illegal. >House Bill 1228 – Imposes a fee/ tax for a background check when purchas...

Is it official, or just a hearsay? Official. Will be an amendment to other gun control bills. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/03/19/reid-cuts-assault-weapons-ban-from-senate-gun-control-bill-amid-waning-support/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It is still a threat to 2...

Why not see if they will use the other $300 to gift a life membership to a spouse, other family member, or good friend?Saintango wrote:On the phone with them now, I hope it isn't too late for me to change what I paid ($600) down to $300

Re: Graham introduces background check bill with NRA backing
The media and the folks in the middle are a fickle bunch. While most in the media have a pretty firm ideology, their "news" coverage flows like water through whatever hot topics are helping to flood or sink their politically-minded opposition (while not completely jumping the shark - they ...

Re: Graham introduces background check bill with NRA backing
Maybe it's just me, but I don't want someone who has been adjudicated by a federal court to be a danger to themselves or others, or someone who has been in a federal court pleading guilty by reason of insanity....I don't want either OUT ON THE STREET AT ALL!!

Re: Graham introduces background check bill with NRA backing
The problem is this won't "head them off at the pass." They will just point out that this would not have prevented AZ, CO, or CT. They say they are for "common sense" legislation, but the anti crowd (and complicit media) are about using absolute standards. Since there is no way t...

Re: Graham introduces background check bill with NRA backing
Can someone help me see how this proposed legislation would have prevented the AZ, CO, or CT shootings? Please connect the dots for me.
Weren't those events the impetus for this current desire for additional control legislation?

Cramer was the 2 witness clause.... and had nothing to do with aid or adhesion . the Curious thing about Cramer is that only one witness testified, Cramer testfied againgt him...
