I had an original hammer fired. I got one when they first came out. I didn't like the trigger but found that the pistol was quite accurate for me if I staged the trigger. I had primer shaving issues that Ruger fixed, but I can never "get over" a guns issues no matter how hard I try; I sold the gun. I went out and got a cm9 and find that it is for me a better fit. I also have a xds 45 which is very similar in the pocket to the lc9. The cm9 is notably smaller and better for pocket carry than the lc9 was and unless the striker fired lc9 has a waaaaaaay better trigger, it will still fall short of the little Kahr's bang button.
