Alright! Good to hear it finally made it. Mine was somewhere around 59 days also, but now it seems like I have always had it. Strap on, amigo, strap on.

Alright! Mrcoffee finally got his! Good for you. You have just joined, as a full-member, a very elite club. Glad to have you in it. Your next step is to learn the secret signal and handshake, but you may not have access to it until after you have posted pics of your Wally Walk.

Re: July 2011 Applications
This is so cool! Good for you guys. The reason I keep hanging in the "Waiting Room" is that I remember how it felt to get that envelope in hand, and to then strap my gun on, for a trip to Wally World, for the first time. It is a much more mundane daily experience now, but it is still a wonderful feeling.

Re: July 2011 Applications
You should see and even better update tomorrow! Believe it or not, that page will finally disappear about a month after you get your CHL. I kind of miss mine...have gone back to check for it at least three times since it went away...

Re: July 2011 Applications
As my daughter's would say, OMG!!! You got to let a little water run under the bridge in order for the DPS engine to get enough energy from the water turbine to power the engines of progress. There have been some amazing turn-around times reported lately, but the poor saps in Austin do need a little time to put your application through all of the check (choke) points.

Re: July 2011 Applications
lol. I wonder if that excuse would have worked with my wife? I found paying cash, hiding the receipt, and telling her my Kahr PM9 and Springfield XDM 3.8" 9mm compact were the same gun, kept me from getting busted. Good thing she does not know a 9mm from hair blower.PocketGroove wrote: Yes, i spent 20$ on 4 tiny screws...
...i blame DPS.
Better keep that gun out of the bathroom!

Re: July 2011 Applications
ooooooo! Sweet holster!
From what I can see, your wait will be so short you will not believe it. Makes me wish I had waited to get my CHL so I did not have to wait as long.
Wait, that was stupid.

Re: July 2011 Applications
CrossBreed is running about six weeks +. My MiniTuck, which I recently received, took 49 days. Worth the wait.
