They now send you a letter or coupon to make the purchase, no longer just a copy of your card. However the party in this post could have bought a couple of Glocks for the price if he had joined three years ago when they first posted.

Mike,

Thanks for that info. I have been a GSSF member for over a year and was unaware of the change in policy.

If you do a google search for GSSF (Glock Sport Shooting Foundation) you can join for $35.00 and one time a year they will allow law enforcement pricing for any glock they carry. You can find more information on the website but if my memory serves me right you could get a brand new Glock 17 (9MM) or a Glock 23 (.40) for pretty close to $400.00. I have a glock and the thing I love about it is everytime I pull the trigger it goes bang!

While this is a good deal, you have to wait over a year after initially joining to get the GSSF pricing on one unless you sign up for a two or more year membership.
This isn't True. You can request the form for GSSF pricing as soon as you join. I've done it myself. It take 30 to 60 days for the form to get to you and then you find a dealer that will accept it in your area. Then your done.

Re: Weapon recommendations in my price range

You may also want to check the marketplace on these forums. I saw some pretty nice deals in there.
