if you do a quick google search there are several online resources to help you identify potential issues with used 1911s.


congrats on the decision and welcome to the dark side ;)

FWIW, my father in law purchased a springfield range officer and it is one heck of a shooter. brand new i think they're only $750ish, used might save you a hundred or so bucks.
