Re: Concealed AOW by CHL past 30.06/blue TABC sign?

Scott, that is not entirely correct. Class 2's and 3's can own them as well, as long as they have a demo letter.

Re: Concealed AOW by CHL past 30.06/blue TABC sign?

That is a good question.

When I transfer NFA weapons to a corp, llc, trust, etc, I still have the person picking the gun up fill out a 4473 and just check the NFA section at the bottom.

Re: What brand of AR is the best for the $$$

gig, you're killing me with listing Colt with Noveski, and LMT. ;-) I'd rather have a RRA over a Colt, but that is just opinion of course. Smith and Wesson has a good thing going now though. They are less than what I can make an AR for at dealer cost on the parts. Maybe doesn't have the CDI factor (...

Re: Concealed AOW by CHL past 30.06/blue TABC sign?

There is really not that much paperwork that goes with it if you ever wanted to do it. If for nothing else, it is just fun to have some NFA stuff. (No, the feds can't come search your house without a warrant, etc...) I have often thought about the law in the same way with a machine gun instead of an...

Re: At a loss for words...

I really don't know what to say. When I was in the station doing paperwork as a patrol sergeant, I would take my belt off in the office, but I still had a Smith 37 in my pants pocket. WOW! Now as a desk jockey, I still carry a gun, even if it is not one on my belt, I still have one in the pocket. Th...

Re: Kahr P380 vs. Sig P238

My wife and I looked at both when we were at the SHOT Show. She seemed to like the Kahr better than the Sig. Of course it is totally subjective, but the Kahr seemed like a better quality gun. I will admit, I have not shot either one. I liked them both, but I too would pick the Kahr. I did get a Seec...

I've done it before. A rodeo clown helped me arrest a guy. I will give another example. Goose Creek CISD does not allow their security officers to break up fights or physically restrain them. The head security guard (i hesitate to use the word chief) had instructed two of them at a high school not t...

Now your talking. Make hay while the sun shines! "Sweetie, this is a P7M13 for me, and a matching, but slimmer, P7M8 for you. You mean so much to me that I want us to carry the same style of gun." See if that works, you never know. Plus you can now get her into holsters. Women like to have...

The part about banning guns on campus still gets me. Makes me want to ask him how well banning guns on campus worked out for them in April.

I don't want to be the voice of doom , but I think it would be a good time to buy as many rifles and full capacity mags as you can now. It is just a matter of time.

I hope I am wrong.

If the CLEO won't sign, there is always the option of setting up a corp. They do not need the CLEO signature to buy Class III weapons. I am not sure of the draw backs of this or what is required, I just know it is an option.

Check out delfatti.com. If he does not have it, call him and tell him what you want and he will make it. I don't think a finer holster can be found.

I've never even received a jury summons. I think my wife did for municipal court once, but I was the officer that issued the ticket.

Needless to say, she called and did not have to go.
