Fingers crossed for you that it all works out now. Not to beat a dead horse - but I'm going to just because.... I remember back in the day when 3-4 months was a good turn around time lol.
I know it is hard to laugh about it but someday you will (only because its on the way).

L1 should have called you if there was an issue - as per the rep at L-1 they have to let you know if it was rejected for any reason.
Contact L-1 and find out if they were rejected.
