Mailed !!! As of 6:30 this am! Been carrying around the house my XDm 9 but will probably pocket carry either my LCP .380 or S&W 642 .38.

Manufacturing Pending as of this morning, 7/7/11...background check was under review since 6/1/11.

Amazing what a call to the DPS from your State Rep can accomplish! I've been under BG Review since June 1 and amazingly today I get a call that I'm cleared and should be getting my License in the next week.

Just sent my friend and State Rep a request to hire more people at the DPS and propose "Constitutional Carry."

Don't feel too ba UK, my bg has been under review since 6/1. I mailed my app in on May 16. I've called twice and spoke to too different folks and the tell me everything is "fine" and I should be getting it shortly. They're obviously just trying to appease me. They mentioned very briefly that "maybe something came up in my bg review and they just had to make sure it was not a disqualifying event!l. I've never been arrested so this is just frustrating...I am pushing for Constitutional Carry" during our next Legislative session in 2013!

DPS received my completed app on 5/18 and my background review has been ongoing since 6/1. I see others have already got their plastic who took course around same time as me....this wait sure seems long!
