Post by RPBrown »

Our church ERT is looking for a range in the DFW area that we can practice move and shoot scenarios. Any suggestions?

ETTS is also a good choice.

Dallas Pistol Club. It’s a private club though.

Dallas Pistol Club is a great pistol club and a great group of people, but it should be said that they also have a great many peculiar range rules due to city requirements.

Alas, with encroaching urban sprawl, I think there's pressure on a lot of ranges. I know PSC in Friendswood is feeling it; someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe their Range 1 used to be 400 yards but was shortened to 300 yards a couple of years ago. And Thunder Gun Range in Montgomery County has recently been sued by homeowners in a relatively new development alleging that stray rounds are peppering their neighborhood.
