Re: Indoor Range in Roanoke
A Class III friendly range would be GREAT!!! Granted, I can go to DFW Gun Range for that, but I'd rather go to Roanoke!
Re: Indoor Range in Roanoke
We area class 3 Type 2 (Manufacturer) for NFA. We hope to be very Class 3 friendly.
However, manufacturing a full-auto and allowing others to fire it indoors, are 2 completely different issues.

Will your range allow firing of Class III subguns?

That is the plan, until we are told otherwise, yes.

GREAT to hear!
Re: Indoor Range in Roanoke
We also plan to have one "tactical' range bay where shooters will be able to go down-range (organized of course)..This range will have no stalls. We are in talks to acquire a new 300 degree simulator as well.
Re: Indoor Range in Roanoke
So, what is the target date for opening? And how will you structure the fees? Memberships? single use fees?

I'd also like to know if this is going to be open to the public or require membership.
Re: Indoor Range in Roanoke
The recent economic issues have caused a hiccup with banking and lending, so we are doing a few work-arounds to get things moving. We will have 2 bays for pistols. One will be dedicated to LE and training, the other will be open to our customers. There will be memberships in order to know who is shooting at all times. Pricing and structure have yet to be determined. We have also had to place efforts into our production and line of custom 1911's as well as M4 / M16's. That has caused a delay in the range.

Okay, I'm excited to see a new range going in. Just to clarify, when you say a "Bay" you're talking about the full range which might have 6 or 8 shooting positions (lanes maybe) not one shooting position.

We plan to have 2 bays with 15-20 positions each., It just may have to come in phases. One bay now, one bay 12 months later....depends on how financing works out as the economy rebounds
