OldSchool, the best bet is to call. The road is paved, but a little bumpy. The range is looking better everytime I visit. They are working hard to get the range upgraded and they've been friendly & helpful with any questions. They are going to have a grand opening pretty soon.

In the meantime silverbear and some others have had a really fun time doing some action pistol shooting :fire Sunday evenings.

Aha, a Sunday crowd! Might be worth dropping by.

Thanks for the advice, we'll give 'em a call.

Do you guys know if they allow .22 rifles? I dropped by once before I had anyplace to shoot, but never came back (the ventilation seemed non-existent, and I prefer outdoor anyways). Glad to hear it is being improved, the more and better ranges there are the merrier.

We are going to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Friday morning and being bussed to the NASA Causeway to view the launch. We have a 9:30 AM arrival time at the Visitor Complex then taking the NASA transportation to the view site.

Will you be there?

No, I had to stay back here. Maybe later in the year.

Is that the Indian River site? You'll have to let me know how the view is from there!

[Oops, sorry! Hijacked the thread again! ]

ETA: Well, not really off-topic: We're at PSC today taking a class during launch....

You know we will! I've got 3 drills and 6 scenarios, I hope we can get to all the scenarios.

Wow, what a fantastic day, I can not thank fm2 and ElGato enough for helping me, 2 of the nicest people in the world,
I have complete faith in my 642, learnt a whole lot today, I am ready to head to the range on my own, have so much to work on :evil2:
I also brought a 9mm that I had some issues with, it is brand new and I guess we just need to spend a lot of time together and see who gets worn out first
My girlfriend will be back from Florida on Tuesday, she has her CHL but no gun yet, so I have 3 guns and with some help I now have the correct ammo and plenty of it. :thumbs2:
Everybody I met tonight was nice, Jason was there and he is as nice in person as he is on this board.
The scenarios were a lot of fun, I think everybody had a great time, big thanks to fm2 for organizing this, big success :hurry:

I wasn't able to go today, but did go 2 weeks ago. FM2 has a lot of knowledge to pass on, and I am grateful for his wanting to share.

ElGato was my CHL instructor in March, he is just GREAT!! Anyone that has a chance to work with him, will go away with a lot of knowledge and as he instilled in me, a greater want to learn!

Thank you for coming out and shooting with us. I think with a little practice you'll have the 9mm working for you. But, you did really well with your revolver, so you could use that as well.

I'm glad you liked the scenarios and had fun at the range.

Larry, we will be at Best Shot Shooting range @ 5:00 again this Sunday.

Bring a holster, couple of mags., and about 100 rounds of ammo in addition to your regular range gear.
