Great Customer Service: Great Southwest Gun Range

#1

Post by Razorback »

What's the old saying? "If you get Good customer service you tell 1 person but if you get Bad customer service you tell 100 people or more."

I want to tell more than 1 person. The folks at Great Southwest Gun and Archery are GREAT :thumbs2: . I had the opportunity to take my CHL class at the facility in Jan and it's top notch. The instructor was excellent made the 10 hours feel like 9.5 "rlol" Just kidding he was great!
Since I’ve returned several times and on occasion taking my wife. Each time the staff has been awesome very welcoming. They even ask how you're doing [and I think they really care]. They make sure you have everything you need for a hassle free experience.
My wife commented that the times she’s accompanied me she feels very comfortable and wouldn’t feel out of place going by herself. Coming from her that says a lot.

If anyone is in the market for a gun range that makes you feel like you’re part of the family. Try out Great Southwest Gun and Archery in Grand Prairie :txflag: . You won’t be disappointed.

good to hear.
I keep thinking about making the trek out there, about a 30min drive but it might be worth it. Ive been less than impressed with the indoor ranges closer to me

I'm hear what you're saying. Some indoor ranges are like going to a party you weren't invited to. :???:

Head out! You wont be disappointed.

I work just down the street and pass by them everyday, but have never stopped in to see what they had to offer.
Knowing this I might make it a point too very soon. It would be a great lunch hour place since I'm less than 10 minutes away.

Thanks! :tiphat:

I've been going there since I bought my first gun from them in November and I can't say enough good things about them. Even though I've been to other ranges since then, I keep going back to it. The guys behind the counter are very friendly and helpful. I'm beginning to look for a second gun in the near future, and I'll strongly consider buying from them again even if they are a bit more expensive just to make sure they stay in business. Great place to shoot!

finally made it to great southwest today, really like the place.
staff was super friendly, probably the nicest people ive ever dealt with at a range.
the lanes are very well lit, which probably led to me shooting better than i normally do

Just got back a little while ago from shooting at Great Southwest Gun. Really nice place. I'm a newbie and this is the first indoor range I've shot at. The guys behind the counter were really friendly and a great help. They answered all my questions and made me feel welcome. The shooting range was nice and I met a nice man (a grandfather) that had his two grandsons there teaching them how to shoot. A great experience! I will definitely be returning!

I've always enjoyed my indoor range time at this place. Like the others said, the folks are really friendly. It's a very welcoming atmosphere. I also like the fact that they have an indoor archery range, and they've offered me reduced rates when I use both the archery range and the gun range. The only complaint I have is that it can get really packed on the weekends. To pass the time while waiting when it's crowded (I've waited almost an hour one time), I bring my bow, pay for an archery lane and fling some arrows til a gun lane opens up.

I also took my CHL class there this past January and was very impressed with their setup and instructor. Highly recommend their CHL classes and their range, but I'm afraid doing so will just make this place even more crowded when I go!

I tried them out recently. It's a good place to go. Everyone was friendly and the facility was well maintained. I returned a week or so later and they were cleaning the bullets out of the backstop. They also advised me they were going to be revamping the air venting/filtration system. I liked that I could send the target out and it did not "dance" on the line for 5 minutes before I could start shooting. Another range I use has that annoying problem. But then again, maybe I should just look at that as a challenge :biggrinjester:

Nice range and people, very customer service oriented. Archery is not the best place to go just my 2 cents

I like this range as well. This is where my CHL class did our range qualifying portion of the class. The employees there were awesome.
