Anyone can recommend a place to shoot near San Marcos? Rifle, 100-200 yds.
I know there's County Line Shooting, but not sure if they're fully operational.

The NRA has listings of ranges. County Line is not available for pistol and rifle due to a pending suit, Dietz has a rifle range on Hwy 46 W in New Braunfels. NSSF has a website "whereto shoot" you might want to check also. I recall a post here about a range in Hays county that opened a couple of years ago but can't find it.

Thanks... looking at the NSSF site, there isn't much around there. May have to go either north or south to go shoot...

Lonestar Gun range in Lockhart. I drive all the way from Wimberley to shoot there. Great range.

During some meetings this summer I went to Cedar Ridge Range. There was a group of us so it was nice to have kind of a private burm to use so we could move/change targets without having to wait for a bunch of people to be done/clear weapons/etc.
They actually quiz you on the safety rules, which was nice. We fired handguns, AKs, ARs, etc.
