I have run into several different lists of gun ranges on the internet but they list both public and private ranges. Has anyone run into a list of Membership Shooting Clubs in Texas?

In the Houston Area:

PSC - Frindswood
Greenwood - Lake Jackson
Tomball Gun Club - Tomball
Beaumont Gun Club - Beaumont
Orange Gun Club - Orange
Lufkin Gun Club - Lufkin
Bay Area Gun Club - Baytown

Texarkana Gun Club, Texarkana
Maud Gun Club, Maud

(These are actually right next door to each other. Texarkana Gun Club isn't in Texarkana; it's between Redwater and Maud.)

Tom,

A small correction. Bay Area Shooting Club was forced out of our Baytown location by the bullying tactics of Home Depot's legal staff.

The new location is east of Crosby.

Midland Shooter's Association http://www.midlandshooters.com/

Two physical locations, about 15 miles apart. One location has rifle and pistol ranges with silhouettes, black powder range, Bullseye pistol range, a sighting range, and about 9 pistol bays. The bays will handle about 5 or 6 at a time for chl qualifying, or can be setup as IDPA stages.

The shotgun range has skeet, trap, and sporting clays. Both locations have parking and overnight plugins for travel trailers/Mobil homes when they host large events.

This was exactly the reaction I was hoping for when I started this thread.

I know that Membership clubs are not the only solution to keeping gun ranges open for my children and grand children but
They certainly are one tool in the tool box.

If you find a membership club close to home, consider joining.

I also found a membership club near my home after years of being unaware of it. I had literally driven by it without realizing that it was a range. It looks like some kind of farm operation because of the cattle near the road.
